I suffer from quite severe anxiety issues and driving for me was hell on earth. However with Richard’s amazing kindness and understanding I managed to overcome this driving anxiety and passed my test first try! I now drive pretty much everyday with zero anxiety at all. Without a doubt the best place to go for driving lessons.

To any and all looking for a truly fantastic service, then look no further. I learned under Tristan smith and through his careful tutoring, I was able to pass my test today with a score I’m proud of. Every step of the way Tristan has been kind, caring and understanding. Tristan not only inspired me with confidence but he also taught me countless ways of dealing my nerves and anxiety. There was never a time in all the hours I’ve spent learning with him I didn’t feel safe or uneasy under his careful supervision. Tristan and the company he represents are both truly exemplary, and I owe them all a massive thank you.

Cannot speak highly enough of Richard and the team and would recommend to anyone. Very easy to book lessons in and very professional throughout. Richard could see quickly that I had a lot of anxiety around driving due to previous experiences and tailored my experience all the way through to ensure I was learning all the relevant information whilst feeling as comfortable as possible, even managing to have a laugh along the way. I have learnt so much more than just getting a test pass, with driving knowledge and hints and tips being passed on along the way as well. It’s been an absolute pleasure to learn to drive with you Richard, thank you so so much!

I started to learn to drive when I turned 18 in a manual car. No matter how much I practiced, my anxieties would get in the way. Then life got in the way with the pandemic and university and I didn’t sit behind the wheel for almost 4 years. When I returned those anxieties had grown but luckily we had found the amazing Annie Wallace and her automatic car. Her kindness and sometimes tough love, broke down all those anxieties until they no longer existed. After 6 months I am now a full license holder. Everyone has that teacher from their life that they never forget. I will never forget Annie! Her bubbly and warm personality made the whole experience amazing. She is hilarious and inviting and has helped me changed my life! Thank you Annie, dinner’s on me!

Richard is an absolutely brilliant driving instructor, he is so friendly and calm. I felt so ready for my test and I found his lessons fun as well as helpful. I passed first time with a few minors, and have recommended him to multiple friends who have all passed first time too, due to his excellent teaching and enjoyable lessons!

Huge thanks to Tristan for his support and guidance. Mia had 2 previous instructors who either shouted at her for doing something wrong or did the same thing every lesson. Tristan got her to where she is today and she passed first time with 4 minors. Cannot recommend them enough.

Richard made my driving experience everything and more! I'm a very anxious and complicated learner but Richard adapted to my needs perfectly. Great communication and never felt pressured. I finally passed my test on the 4th attempt after failing with other driving schools!!
Tristan was brilliant throughout all my lessons - very encouraging, calmed my nerves and extremely skilled at his job. Prior to COVID he even allowed me to have my baby in the back of the car during lessons, which not only meant I was able to have lessons, it also gave me the confidence to drive with a child in the car now I’ve passed my test!
I highly recommend him as an instructor and can’t thank him enough for getting me through my test! Freedom at last!! ...oh wait...once lockdown is over!

Richard is a fantastic driving instructor! He is very relaxed in the car with you which instantly puts you at ease. He is patient and understanding but also pushes you out of your comfort zone a little every time which I think makes for a fantastic teacher. I passed first time with Richard and would highly recommend him to anyone.

I very recently passed my test with Carl, as my second driving instructor he was just what I needed to get through my test in only as matter of weeks! Carl is very friendly and encouraging and I would recommend him to anyone wanting to learn with a patient instructor

Fantastic company, I did the intensive course with Richard, really relaxed atmosphere in the car all the way through. Richard did a fantastic job understanding my personality and quickly realised the best approach to take with me without any pressure.

I put off learning to drive for a really long time as I found it all too daunting but I finally found the courage to get some real lessons and I am so glad I ended up with Richard as my teacher!
He put me at ease from day one, was flexible with lesson time to work around my family commitments and was just a lovely chap to hang out with.

I had such an amazing experience driving with Richard! I started off with not the best instructor who wasn’t teaching me at my ability but Richard soon realised I was more than able to be on the road! I learnt quickly and now feel I am a very good and experienced driver even with only 6 months on the road... I’ve also recommend to many family and friends who have gone with him! Excellent driving instructor!
